Where are you located at? My friend says he thinks he might get lag depending on where you're at. That is if you host.

It's true. The devs stopped all work on the PC version.
Console versions of Terraria get stuff that PC versions don't.
That is not a good business practice. I would advise that you not buy it.
I don't get people like you, the game isn't filled with bugs, it doesn't need an update.
The console versions are being developed by a different team of people, so I wouldn't expect them to update the pc game.

The game has more than enough stuff to occupy a person for enough time to make the money it costs well worth it.

Minecraft really loving changed the pc gaming community in the worst way. I hate it when devs focus on one game and just add stuff to it. Make new different games.
Look at WoW for instance, its now a pretty stuff game because its based on a nearly ten year old engine. If Blizz made a new mmo on a new engine it would be so much better.

The Terraria devs moved on to starbound, which I'm happy about because its something new. Even if it does look very similar.

I never really got into Terraria, because I never really had anyone to it with.
It looks really fun and all, and I bought it, but...
