It's true. The devs stopped all work on the PC version.
Console versions of Terraria get stuff that PC versions don't.
That is not a good business practice. I would advise that you not buy it.
I don't get people like you, the game isn't filled with bugs, it doesn't need an update.
The console versions are being developed by a different team of people, so I wouldn't expect them to update the pc game.
The game has more than enough stuff to occupy a person for enough time to make the money it costs well worth it.
Minecraft really loving changed the pc gaming community in the worst way. I hate it when devs focus on one game and just add stuff to it. Make new different games.
Look at WoW for instance, its now a pretty stuff game because its based on a nearly ten year old engine. If Blizz made a new mmo on a new engine it would be so much better.
The Terraria devs moved on to starbound, which I'm happy about because its something new. Even if it does look very similar.
