you're an idiot
if it were to be projecting an EMP onto something, the machine would be effected, therefore rendering it useless

and feep, just because they exist doesn't mean you can make them willy nilly. they are hard to create unless you use a nuclear warhead or something similar and that's a complete waste of money
take into your mind that it costs millions of dollars to produce a warhead
millions of dollars to launch it
and billions of dollars in repairs if something goes wrong
so basically i just explained how using EMPs are stupid and cost-ineffective

I don't even use EMP as i mostly use space warfare with magnetic slugs and corrosive charges to melt hulls and such.

And so what if he's been studying anti-matter that long, then he would realize how ineffective they are for how much it would cost for him to manufacture and use them. Plus don't forget how would he make warheads for use in a Rocket Propelled grenade without it being very unstable? they would probably be extremely noneffective when used in the field, but for artillery it would be plausible.

I think with a text-based roleplay like this, it's very hard for everyone to remain realistic. I myself don't have a real clear ratio of time, I understand a week is a year, but otherwise I'd have to figure that out.

Plus while on that subject, everyone on this thread wants stuff to happen, and they don't want to wait weeks for it to happen like a realistic thread would be. So in actuality, with the current time-table, no one has been even slightly realistic. If I do make 4.0, I'd shorten 1 year to 4 days, each day being 3 months, etc. Plus, I could find a clock of some sort and post it on on the OP to make sure everyone knew how much time had passed.

I think this genre of forum roleplay is excellent, but it'll have to evolve from Shinji's first thread to something much more complex, yet simple.

Any thoughts?

The first thread is great, the second is normally stuff, then the third one is either okay or good.
