Right, I'm going to stay away from adventure for a while! Perhaps it's just me being useless but I can't go more than 10 minutes without dying and death ALWAYS involves this as the last messages:

- Skull smashed into brain
- Brain torn

Honestly, is everything setting out to tear my brain?

I threw at an axeman chieftain that I was supposed to kill and it broke his chest or something and he fell down.
And them my army beat him unconscious.

how do i open the cage traps that were sprung. a cave in occurred and a stupid dwarf fell into one and there's a goblin in another that i want to kill. i assigned a squad to attack the caged goblin but i don't think it is working.

Assign it to a lever with a mechanic.

well a cave crocodile killed like 12 dwarves, then i was raided by moles but i am fending off for now

Oh wow I threw a silver arrow and it chipped someones right true rib and tore the left lung, tearing a tendon in the right true rib.

Or build a cage and unassign the animal/creature, it is incredibly dangerous with hostiles but it is preferred for friendly creatures.

a troll attacked me and i killed it in seconds. there's blood everywhere though

Haha, you managed to start a loyalty cascade? I haven't done that yet.

I brought bogeymen into a human fortress before, it was funny watching the soldiers get owned by them until some woke up finally and tore into them.
