Also, I love love love love the update idea, but I was just thinking, and please reply if you can, Kompressor, what will there be of build styles like in the boss battles server? I mean, what's the point of stuff addapting to terrain if there's no terrain? No one will build terrain just so they can addapt to it xD
Check the boss battles topic; Lug and I managed duplicate many of the pieces of the build into place in like fifteen minutes. Many of them fit pretty well. If Pecon changes his mind about using it, we can work with the bedroom build after a few fixes for variances in proportions.

If the update will be released very soon. I will play the last days on my most awesome city map ever made, Viano City.

Concept:

There are two ways to save bricks: as maps or as creations. Creation saves would work the exact same way that brick-saving works currently, but this is how map brick-saving would work:

You build your terrain in bricks. When you save these bricks, you are giving the option to save them as a map. If you choose that option, the save will show up from the "Start a Server" menu, the way that maps do currently. When you load a map brick save, the bricks have no permissions. This means that anybody can build on them, but nobody can destroy them. After people build on the map bricks, when you go to save, you can save only the creations, and the save will be associated with the brick map, just the way that saves are associated with maps currently.

This is still the best idea I've ever heard!!

PLEASE CONSIDER THIS KOMPRESSOR!

I can't wait to see what kinds of brick built maps will look like, all the possibilities

Cant wait to see what you build.

Will use still have plate2 and/or adjustable plate?

Plate is a Slate edit, so probably

!

Make the new class type have the texture of brickTOP, so it'll be like Plate. That'd be kickin'.

so you're saying the new class can only use bricktop?

I am sure that someone will come up with bricks that are good for terrain building. -- kompressor
Oh I will as long as some BLB tools are released. For example something to drop a 3D model file into and it outputs a perfect BLB. I would spam RTB to death with new bricks.

I am not sure if this has been asked before (would make sense if it did) but what about dogfight maps?
It'd be very odd to just have a huge plain to fly over, but it would be a work of Hercules to make a map large enough to not constantly smash into a boundary with you plane/go away from everyone else.
Also, we have very well-built interior DM's (thank you Bushido) but most of the larger maps like Gcat's and Heed's styled maps would go away, or take ages to adapt.

I myself wouldn't really experience bother with this update, but I can imagine it to be a blow to the gunning-FPS part of this game.

Build it out of big bricks so it doesn't take so long to build? You don't need to make it be out of 1x1s if you're flying 100ft above it very fast. -- kompressor

i'm writing up a suggestion topic to solve this without bringing back old interiors.

I'll be interested to read it -- kompressor

Are Static Shapes and Mission Objects getting removed?

In the new update. Will the mission editor still be there? Because I made ship interiors for Blockland that are based on the golden age of the 20th century. And I still want to continue with making video's about my golden age liners.
