Straits of devastation is 75% watercombat. Underwater combat is boring as forget tho

I'm having trouble picking a class... I've tried every class but necromancer and engineer , and only leveled a warrior, ranger, and an elementalist to to level 11.
Any suggestions? And how do engis and necromancers play
