RTB Dedicated Hosting Service - Service Closing

This isn't such a trivial thing to do. You'll find even when hosting your own server there's a limit to how far you can scroll back. In terms of doing this in the web console, dumping hundreds of thousands of lines into your browser at once when you open your console if your server's been running for a while isn't going to play so well with your browser.

I can't say it's a priority to look at for the moment but it's something I'll definitely keep in mind. It may just end up being a button to download the current console.log or something.

Not at the moment unless you want to edit the System_RTBHosting add-on yourself. Due to the packaging order it'll pretty much catch anything people say regardless of whether underlying packages decide not to call the parent.

What I want it for is sometimes when I restart the server after a long time (means I forgot about any issues that happened last time I started it), I join the server to find out that something doesn't work.
Now I want to check the console to see what went wrong when loading the add-on, but I can't.

Seems to be that way, yeah. If you go to your hosting dashboard (where you click on your server) and hover your mouse over the flag it'll tell you where your server is. We're doing all we can at the moment.

NY01 is back up again so you should be able to start up if your server if it's not already started. Details on compensation will be forthcoming for the outage. Thanks again for your patience.

After checking the error logging it appears the issue involved a kernel memory leak in a core networking service, nothing we could have done unfortunately. At this time we're not concerned about the stability of this issue as NY01 ran for 212 days without an issue. NY02 and NY03 are running at 191 and 151 days uptime respectively so again, no stability concerns. If the issue happens again we will look further into it but no further action will be taken regarding this issue for now.

All contracts on NY01 will an extension of 2 days to compensate for the outage. Apologies for the downtime!

can we utilize some sort of api that allows the rtb servers to email you notifications, like maybe a player was abusing something and a player could type /admin an the host could get an email notification that an admin was needed

What do you guys use for scheduled tasks?

Our servers are managed centrally from a Linux box so we use cron jobs and supervisord with a custom job manager. The limited number of Windows scheduled tasks we have use Windows Task Scheduler
