That power supply won't fit in the case you're getting.
I don't know much about power supplys but this should be somewhat decent:

that looks wonderful! and with a better efficiency too!

So, it turns out that just because all the SATA ports on my motherboard are SATA 3 6Gb/s and they're all the same colour, if you don't plug your HDD into the one marked "SATA3 - 1" then stuff's going to be slow and really really loud.

Tl;dr: I fixed the slow HDD issue I was mentioning earlier

what should i upgrade?
im getting a new case anyway so
might go with a new keyboard and mouse
suggestions on new stuff?
i was thinking about this for keyboard/mouse

and this for the case

Just hooked up another monitor to my laptop this morning and installed the drivers for my fingerprint scanner. Now I have a dedicated Skype monitor and complete security.

yeeeeeeee

Could anyone tell me if this is 100% compatible with a PS3, I am buying one used from my friend and need to know if this will be a compatible replacement.

are you replacing the PS3's harddrive?

are you replacing the PS3's harddrive?

Yes, but I already found out that it is compatible and have placed my order but thanks anyways.

PSU?
C'mon brah

He never mentioned what his current one is as far as I'm concerned.

I think it's safe to assume a 2007 ati card is not going to be close to the power of a 2012 nvidia card, and the people who made the computer probably took that into consideration when they put the psu in it.

Why is Microsoft so bad at making USB 3.0 drivers?!  Half of my USB 3.0 ports work.  That's fun!  Especially when that's 2/6 back ports and the two front ones.

I'm thinking about getting an external HDD over an internal one for my next hard drive. I'm running out of space and I may be out of power leads off my GPU. Are there any drawbacks of going with external over internal?

USB is slower than SATA.

well, could I get a card that could run skyrim good on ultra? Or atleast help it? :(

Then why don't we replace USB with SATA?

sata doesn't provide power and also just isn't practical.  USB 3.0 goes at 5.0 gb/sec which is nearly as fast as SATA.
