It's PCI 2.0. Could be placebo effect, though I'm pretty sure I'm getting better framerates.
Also yay you're back.
yay someone realised! haha :D
Think I've been gone for so long that nobody here knows me any more :( lol

For some reason I remember you as "that guy that made really good decals".

Probably because that used to be a thing. Welcome back though!

can someone suggest me a cheap gpu that can run on pcie 1.0 x16 without bottlenecking my amd athlon 64 x2 5000+

i got a 300 watt psu

(stop suggesting me upgrading that stuff because i got no money to do that)

edit: also my dad will buy the gpu

edit2: it has to be $80 or less
the gtx 750 ti is a nope because it's way too expensive

The best you'll be able to get with a PSU that low is a GTX 750 TI

Anything less than that is not worth the cost of the box it comes in. Stop being a fool and save up so that you can upgrade your entire PC, you're accomplishing literally nothing by upgrading to the absolute bare minimum of what was considered relevant 2-3+ years ago; you're essentially just throwing money in the bin

i got no job so that doesnt help at all

Then you have 2 options:

1.) Get a job.
2.) Don't upgrade.

You're throwing money away by "upgrading" from something stuffty to something less stuffty.

To put it in simple terms, it's like throwing away a really flat basketball, and buying a basketball that's only slightly less flat than the previous one, making nearly no difference.

Why don't people understand the concept of saving your money until you can buy what you actually want? Have some patience people.

so my friend ordered his parts without my oversight
he might've forgeted up
edit: to clarify, he knew nothing about the little i had taught him before

anyways, i edited my build one last time

but mini ITX sucks
nah
not when you have a tiny room that you share with another person and limited space it doesnt
If you can't fit a mid sized case in your room, it's time to take a look at what other crap you have.
not much
its just a really small room
