Author Topic: The Forgettable Dungeon: Early Access Release  (Read 405902 times)

When will you upload it to youtube?

I'm uploading part 2 now but the twitch archive is up and is much better quality.

http://www.twitch.tv/odnotor/videos?kind=highlights

I accidentally didn't record a local backup of the stream so the I had to download the FLV's from twitch then upload those to youtube.

Youtube re-encodes the FLV for some reason, so it lost some detail.

that first dungeon is amazing

So how do the dungeon textures work? Is it like the player sprites in that the stud overlay is added afterward or is it built in?

Also, is "You feel refreshed" a reference to what I think it is?

Fate? It's the only thing I could think of.

Didn't know that anybody else played that game
I can only hear that phrase in that old guy's voice

Same, I read that in his voice haha.

Memorable quotes from Fate for me are "You have been poisoned." "Your pet has returned." "You step into the portal."

Completely love Fate, still play it occasionally.

Pls put a health bar over/under names. And make it out of cubes not hearts/bar. it'll be cooler c;

Not sure if this has already been answered but how will the buying of this game work?
Will you get a key like blockland?

this might be what you mean but, he should make the health bar in the upper left out of the 3d stuff monsters are made of, so when you lose a heart it shatters and stuff. would look cool.

He said he liked the way Blockland's system worked and how you could share it over multiple computers on LAN so I'm assuming it'll work somewhat like Blockland.

Edit:
I enjoy the way the blockland demo works, especially in a lan party where you only need to have your copy be authenticated.

It's definitely something I want to do, but I'm unsure at this time as the demo is still far off.

In regards to the one key per house, I'm currently considering using user accounts instead of keys. As I feel that gives you more of a sense of personal ownership, possibly preventing situations where people get their keys stolen.

To answer the question though, yeah sharing the user account across multiple pcs in the same house will be fine.

Nothing concrete I'd assume just yet.
