I have high doubts after all the stuff they've been pulling that these keys are going to sell out so fast.

I think a lot of people are going to wait until some proper reviews and benchmarks are done.

do steam keys sell out?

do steam keys sell out?
I've only heard keys selling out for Fallout 3 and Battlefront 2, and both of these games were available at retail long before they arrived on Steam and had actual printed keys.

That apprehension should apply to all video games. Stop pre-ordering stuff you can't return, people.

i still don't understand why people pre-order stuff on steam.

yeah you get 1 million ingame dollars (split between SP and MP btw :) ) but you can grind for an hour or glitch and get that money.

and you get a free copy of san andreas (or a game of your choosing if you get it on the rockstar website)
and you get to download it so you can instantly play it when it comes out

i wonder if there is a way to play it by bypassing the unlocking thing

do steam keys sell out?

No developers can generate new keys to give steam anytime they please, this isn't a hard copy that has to be manufactured.

1) San Andreas is extremely cheap anyway, and has been in many, many Steam sales.
2) If you buy retail, downloading is not an issue, and furthermore I assume Steam would compress the files to only be a tiny fraction of their original size.
