In summary:
W. Erinaum wants nothing to do with E. Erinaum because of what they call the misrule of Erinaum that led W. Erinaum into what they call a pointless war. They want to return land that had been conquered by Erinaum back to either UOU or Yaslovakia. W. Erinaum wishes to found an independant republic, and strip the nobility of their titles.
This plan meets opposition with Nobility and wealthy land owners living in W. Erinaum who wish for a unified Erinaum, as well as some groups who wish to stay as a part of E. Erinaum.
E. Erinaum wants to find the heir(s) (believed to be hidden in North America, W. Erinaum or Abdullahi) and/or heiress (location unknown) to the throne and unify Erinaum with the sovereign power of the new monarch, as well as repair the traditional ways of Erinamese monarchy, and provide more room for error in the old system.
This meets opposition from a large portion of W. Erinaum, and some more politically and socially-radical groups who wish for W. Erinaum to be independent, or for Erinaum as a whole to reform as a republic.
Both polar sides agree that Ivek Tuevon XL was a tyrant, and in his later days became mentally unfit for the throne. They also agree that changes must be made to make Erinaum a more pleasant presence in the world, and to balance power fairly within their own system(s).
The issue of sovereignty is questioned, whether Erinaum is treated as one federative state of UOU, but with different provincial identities, or if they are recognized as separate federative states. If sovereignty is recognized as whole, then E. Erinaum is unable to find the possible male heirs, and possibly unable to find the heiress.
Also, treason follows a very old bill from 1228 where any harm to the royal family is punishable by death, and shame upon the offender's family for 10 generations. The disobedience of an order of the Ivek (or Ivekíe, based on recent legeslation) is punishable by death, and shaming of the offender's family for 2 generations. The anti-treason defense favors E. Erinaum's political for the most part. However, no more of the Padlock Papers can be shared under UOU's enforcement.
