I recently added a Self Delete knob to my car.  No major differences.

Perfectly legal by the way.

Found an '87 Mazda 626 GT Turbo for sale near where I live on bringatrailer.com. I have been checking the site every day for months just to see what interesting cars I can find. Anyway, the car is in seemingly mint condition and has 99k miles. I wish I got a job last year so I could put and down payment on it. Is anyone familiar with these?

European Car Show today, took some pics.

On the way in, I saw my first SRT Viper in the wild. It wasn't part of the car show (obviously).

There was a Tesla Model S parked not far from me. I was standing in front of my van here. Other cars in the parking lot included a red Mercedes SLS AMG, a blue Nissan GT-R, a white Nismo 370Z, a green Mazda RX-7 (latest model), a black Acura NSX, a red C7 Corvette convertible, plus several others (a few private owned Ferraris, Jaguars, Porsches, etc). No cars in the parking lot were actually in the show.

The remaining pictures are from the show. Here's a Lotus Elan from between 1989 and 1995. The year would be on the white card in the window but I don't remember what it was.

Here's a 1989 Lamborghini Countach.

A brand new Lamborghini Huracan, first one I've seen.

BMW Z8, crappy phone won't give it in better resolution so image must be small.

Ferrari 458 Speciale, by far my most favorite Ferrari.

Interior of Ferrari 458 Speciale

BMW i8, second one I've seen.

Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren

Privately owned Alfa Romeo 4C, first I've seen.

A dealer owned Alfa 4C and a different SLR McLaren (one of three that were at the show)

BMW Z1 ('89-'91), never sold in the United States. 8,000 total were produced, with majority being sold in Germany and Italy. They are best known for the doors that instead of opening outwards, actually slid downwards into special slits, as seen in pic.

Z1 badge

Exceptionally nice Alfa Romeo GTA, there was one other as well as a racing spec model (partially visible in the pic of the private owned 4C).

Alfa Spider, yw e-maxx. One of six that I counted at the show. I saw one later (presumably from show) after I left sitting in a Panera parking lot.

Jaguar E-Type coupe, pic was taken right when the guy started driving away.

Other cars that I didn't manage to get that I wish I had included those listed that I saw in the guest lot, a green Lamborghini Aventador that passed me head on as I got there, and a gray Mercedes GTS AMG (first I've seen) which left the show before I got the pic.

Duuuddddeee you are soo lucky, But I too went to a car show yesterday. I didn't get any pictures but there were a lot of cool cars there, A few MG's, 2 Saab Sonnets. 2 Vipers :D. And a fiat 124 spider, The rest of the cars were a bit less intresting.

As far as I know, we're non-discriminatory. But they might not get the same love cars get; I for one know jack stuff about bikes.

HRE wheels is based out of San Diego, and I went to their open house a week ago. One of my girlfriend's friends works at their warehouse.

EDIT: Oh yeah, when I was leaving I saw the Oceanside Police GT-R on the road. Gave the cop a thumbs up and he had the biggest smile on his face. He had that stuff in race-mode.

Does anyone know more about the Lotus Elise

I've been looking to buy one, and even with a lot of studying I can't call myself a car expert, someone has to know more than me.
Any info?

The Elise is a very expensive car, I'd try to get an older one if you can, there a bit cheaper. But keep in mind when it does break it might cost a bit to fix it, but it's very very light so it's quite fuel efficient. A base model one is probably your best bet in getting close to owning one. It's rear wheel drive to just be careful when driving it in rain, snow and ice, not saying you'll drive it in the winter ;).

Used Elises can be dirt cheap. They're only like 50k USD new and they shed value because there's no demand for them on the used car market. I bet you can find one for 20k USD.

Though I have no idea what the Australian or w/e car market you're in is like.

I've never seen one in my life. Very few were built and they were initially illegal to own in the United States.

Look at that shine!

Yeah....had to use my phone camera cause my dad took my tablet that morning.
