I have a couple safe bricks already made; they're door bricks. I made them as a commission but im sure i can get permission to send them over to you if you do end up doing safe and safe combinations.

You can check them out on my commission topic in gen disc
That would be great, I saw the bricks and they look awesome. I was a little hesitant about making large-scale changes to the locking system (due to how it works). But, I think it would only require client-sided changes to include the custom combinations, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks, I'm really looking forward to using V5 in my military-themed RP servers, so an ALICE will be nice.

Can't wait for the alpha/beta!
No problem :)

Bump! I'm going to try to have the public Alpha ready and released by this weekend; there's only a few things left to finish.

Containers and their GUIs have been finalized! All 4 containers have been balanced and offer unique storage options. The Clay Jar and Clay Vessel will allow items stored within them to degrade slower over time (if timed item-degradation is enabled). However, the Clay Jar will weight slightly less than the Clay Vesse and offers one less storage slot. The Sack and Small Chest will have items within them degrade normally, but the sack can hold up to 9 items and the chest can be locked. Slight changes may be made to the models before release.

The Drafting Table GUI is basically done. This interface allows you to create, list and delete various crafting recipes, and will also allow for managing server or item settings.

Other small additions / changes have been implemented. The crowbar model and script (for accessing crates and the barrel storage brick) are now included. Various core functions have also been added for the upcoming alpha test, and an interface for the RuckSack backpack has been added (the Medieval backpack has been renamed to the Travel pack).

Will there be compatibility with VCE and or so with other events? Like AddStorageItem that will store a item in the container you set it to Like OnActive > Named brick > AddStorageItem > Key

I'm not planning on adding support for VCE, but events (similar to the ones included in the last version) will definitely be included.

This is looking pretty cool, GSF!

Also, is it just me, or does that RuckSack look a little like the ALICE picture I posted?

Whoa GSF you're still around?
Keep up the good work buddy

Thanks! And I did look at a couple different reference images when modeling the backpacks, one of which being for the ALICE pack (or some military backpack).

Hey spartan, yeah still hanging around. =)

Progress Update: The Anvil is done! The anvil brick is used for altering items: such as by repairing them, applying modifications or combining certain items together to form new ones. Items can be repaired by using a Restore Hammer tool in the brick's tool slot, along with the item you want to repair in the input slot.

Items can be modified by combining them with various gems and when using the Mod Hammer; each colored gems applies a different modification to an item. Some of the modifications include increasing an items durability value, reducing it's weight, or applying a kick / burn / freeze effect to projectile-based weapons (the level of each effect increases each time it's applied, up to level 5).

Some items can be combined in the anvil with the Blacksmith Hammer - such as joining two iron ingots together to create steel, or combining an iron ingot with one of the various blueprints to create a part for a tool.

Also, as of now over 110 items have been included for the update. Most of these items are used for crafting, and various tools have been included, which will eventually have input events for bricks.

I only need to finish modeling some of the bricks and then the alpha will be ready for public release!

is it item storage or entire rpg

is it item storage or entire rpg
The add-on started out as just a storage mod, but with v5 it'll include all kinds of different features and objects for expanded RPGs.

woaaaahhh, dude that is amazing.
I sure as stuff hope so.
Tomorrow?
It'll be released publicly tomorrow (Monday); modeling the bricks took slightly longer than expected.

Speaking of modeling, some of the remaining brick models are complete (more detail and improvements may be made before release).

The alpha version will be released publicly for testing tomorrow! It'll also include a .bls save with all of the items and bricks included, so that testers can get a good idea of what the mod offers.

holy stuff the hype

too bad skool is tomorrow, way to go skool :(
