Dr. Mario is much heavier than Mario. And his down-B isn't fludd. It's his down-B from melee. And his up-B only hits once really hard.

He's not the same. They have two different play styles. By your logic, Luigi is the exact same as Mario but with green fire.

i'm saying dr. mario has nothing orginal about him, he is mario with stat changes

luigi's move set is entirely different from mario, excluding his up / regular / down special which are stat changes from mario (mario's down special from melee and the original, that is(?) )

idk if u've seen luigi's up b but it's not just like mario's
luigi has a tad bit of RNG in his moveset which is cool
luigi also has fireballs that arent affected by gravity
dr mario has more power but difference in moves and effectiveness of them and is slower
dr mario cant meteor with his fair but it hurts like a bitch
it may just be mario with a doctor's outfit, but it's still a cool character along with lucina
no comment on dark pit

one thing that bugs me a lot is how much the roster is like melee, in terms of clones
ganondorf can pass since he's been around since melee and his regular moves aren't the same

but like, dark pit? dr. mario? lucina??

wow 4 clones in 48 characters (~8%) so many goddamn clones forget me at an oblique angle

you know that's just so much like melee with its 6 clones in 26 characters (over 1/5! wow!)

ssb4 had a bigger pool of characters to use and could have simply kept some previous characters in, like instead of putting in MORE fire emblem characters, they could have just slapped wolf in instead of lucina
he's not a clone and wouldn't have taken much effort to put in either

i don't get why they had to put those characters in when there's more out there that could have been used, like putting in a space pirate from metroid instead of dr. mario which is literally mario with electricity and drugs

sakurai said that clones are much easier to make than new characters

and even with clones removed from the roster it's size still surpasses that of brawl (at 44)
and some people could like those newly added clone characters.
