
So I finished the Mechanic now, i added a tool chest to his backpack so he feels alot more mechanic like, however no renders just yet, I'm revealing something with him aswell ;)
Now for work on the Grenadier, speaking of which I think he'll be given the option of either a grenade launcher or rocket launcher, both have their pros and cons obviously so roughly maybe it might be like this:
Nade Lancher:Pros:- Multiple Rounds (4 Grenades)
- Projectiles bounce off walls (good for dug in players)
- Devastating on player impact (High damage or instant kill?)
- Fires faster than a rocket launcher
Cons:- Small blast radius
- Slightly less powerful
- Very long reload time
- Projectiles arc and fly slower
- Reduced range
Rocket Launcher: Pros:- Long Range
- Very fast travel speed
- Very high output damage
- Larger blast radius
- Fast reload
Cons:- One round per shot
- Must be reloaded after each shot
- Vulnerable while reloading
- Very bad in CQB scenarios
- Needs good aim to be used effectivley.
tl;dr
Nade launchers are for people who like to harass and assault things head on while rocket launchers are for those who can dish out massive damage with a single shot, I'd say rockets are more of a defensive thing in this mod.
