a reminder that polygon is sub-kotaku level
Yes, because when a single reviewer at Polygon states his opinion, the entire company is stuff because you don't agree with the opinion of a reviewer. Opinions suck like that, don't they?

It's par for the course of Polygon to publish garbage. That's only one example. For more, see: the website.

Wasn't the character Bayonetta designed by a woman? Its like the equivalent of a jacked bodybuilder dude with overpowered sword skills

The main complaint I have with complaints about loveual content in games is that critics will say that its an excuse for getting plays/sales in the absence of solid game mechanics. However, apparently Bayonetta has these, although I've never played them. Also, the issue with Divinity Original sin's cover art was also a loving load of stuff.

I seriously don't loving understand feminism and its application in video games. People like Anita claim that women should be allowed to have strong roles, even in games set in historical periods where women were generally without much clout. This is reasoned for the sake of that video games can break reality and fantasy (LIKE BAYONETTA). However, people complain about loving boobplates being "ridiculous and overloveualizing", and nearly demonized the artist and associated developer for Divinity Original Sin because of it. Because clothing apparently needs to appeal to some neo-puritan standard, while feminism in the real world advocates clothing yourself in nearly anyway without shame and fear (mainly with the slut walks and such, but also with love positive feminism). I really feel like people just want to find the next minor to bitch about in video games.

I don't mean to be a weeaboo, but I'm so glad Japan Game devs don't submit to some psuedo social justice bullcrap over the most minor moral offense.

>TFW MERCEDES BENZ JUST PULLED ITS ADS OUT OF GAWKER MEDIA

-snip-
What's really aggravating is that most feminist's say "She can wear what she wants it's her choice." in response to when anyone is in skimpy clothing, but when a fictional character all of a sudden wears a crop top, they go apestuff.

Silly Kimon, SJWs can't read. They'll just support anyone who happens to be a feminist

Assumptions like these are why serious discussion cannot occur.
A few pages back I thought I made some progress with a nice open conversation with McJobless. It seems any sense of cooperation just fades in the blink of an eye however thanks the culture's "negativity bias" and selective memory.
*sigh*
