I wasn't aware the area he was in could've been considered hazardous
gays are hazardous physically and mentally

This

For a noise complaint they usually only send 1
this can vary a lot in different areas, not all departments are going to send only one officer over to a noise complaint

also i thought the video said that a complaint was filed about him and his brother fighting
Quote
He had been arguing loudly with his brother an hour earlier, who had come home in an “obnoxiously drunk” stupor and left before police arrived to investigate the noise.
i don't see much of a problem with them sending two or three officers, and four isn't really too over the top. from what i've heard, things like this could be unpredictable (especially with the one guy being reported to be drunk) and it's couble probably be unknown to the officers whether or not the drunkard has a weapon stored somewhere

maybe for a noise complaint about loud music they'd send one or a second officer to assist, just in case, but in this one their arguing was apparently loud enough for their neighbors to hear them

Well some areas are just dangerous for reasons. Take an area with a large gang population, lots of gangs function like families and go off a mob mentality. They don't like you to begin with, but if you arrested a few of their one they might strike at you if they see an opportunity. The officer in the video doesn't get attacked by a bunch of guys, however one large mob vs 1 officer will not end well for the officer.

Perhaps it's area were officers have been attacked or killed in before? Certain beats have that kind of reputation.

What the hell? These cops are messed up. Those starfishs better have gotten punished for doing what they did to this guy. How'd they know he was homoloveual, anyways? I'm really wondering that part.

Yeah, no better way to call out an potential chainban than to jump in on it.
