you won't find fun here, especially in a genocide run
unless you enjoy having a bad time

How lossy can an 8 bit/inspired soundtrack be anyway?...

Lossy enough to make me lose my marbles and Punch a nerd on the Internet who asks too many questions

Well I mean a few of the songs have acoustic/sick electric guitar riffs.

people experience fun differently. people are willing to grind through games if they have something else they enjoy, and undertale is no exception. it's a game that heavily appeals to explorers, and they don't care that they have to grind through enemies because it lets them further their exploration. not to mention that the way the mechanic works subtly lends itself further to the experience as a secondary result of the tedium

you're probably not the kind of player that undertale primarily resonates with and that's OK!!! seems like you've at least gotten something from the experience!!! just maybe not genocide lol!!

yeah i guess this game just isn't for me, which is fine
i don't need to like everything

i saw videos of the genocide run final boss on youtube and it looked really difficult. i thought it would be the most fun route for me but i guess it isn't

If you want to fight the boss of the genocide run, there's a simulator for that

the simulator is kind of stufftily made

there's a savefile generator(SPOILERS) and one of the presets for it lets you skip directly to the fun parts, try that instead
