alright so this feels incredibly rushed

- maps poorly thought out
- maps feel incredibly rushed, poorly tested
How so? Could you care to explain better? Now that I think about it I guess I could have added some arrows or signs to simplify the direction of the track.
- 3rd person camera focuses on the car. we get it. you can car well.
I don't see a problem with it, but yeah I guess I could raise it a little bit
- music is poorly synced with race events
That is a problem that can cause with a server with lot's of players or with the connection.

- using BrickGroup.deleteAll(); instead of chainkilling everything to prevent hanging (people think they crash, they don't)
- no time to allow for ghosting/choosing kart
I'll contact Alphadin about this.

- 3rd party addon needed to customize kart
Can't do anything about that.

- forget all to 3rd person cameras on anti-grav maps
I recommend to use 1st person in anti-gravity maps

- no documentation on maximum player count (it's 20, for the record 16?, kinda low imo)

Then don't, simple as that, you can explore the tracks if you don't go with the checkpoint route.

Pretty much, I was expecting some negative feedback but not that much, we'll try and take a look at most of the issues here, so please be patient and we will update the gamemode if you guys actually stay calm and help us with what we have to fix and find ways to fix those issues, that would be way more appreciated, we'll find a way to improve the plane track, we'll try to come up with ways to improve the checkpoints and other issues, anyone who knows some coding or anything that could help please contact me via PM.

Also yes I completely agree about removing the cars colliding into each other, but the thing is that we have no idea how that works, if anyone knows a way please, contact us.

It's incredibly easy to escape the bedroom map just by missing a jump or hitting a wall, and there's nothing (i.e. water of death) to force you back into the map

The map changes are clunky and laggy, to the point of making me think I'd crashed at one point

However the checkpoint mechanic is nice for recovery and I like some of the map concepts.

Overall, it's good, but could use some time back in the oven to finish baking.

dude if you have to say "don't go outside of the map" because you can the map is stuff. saying this doesn't change that in the slightest

this is such bullstuff. nobody loving rushed you. they said they were excited but that does not equate to "finish the gamemode now". don't use this as an excuse

Well forget, this is not what I was expecting, we did beta tested this server a couple of times before releasing it and we thought it was ready to be released and most issues that were reported were fixed in related to the tracks, but we did not expect those issues after release and we didn't had those on the beta, so I apologize about this, and I suggest to wait until we manage to fix most of the problems, in the meantime try to host a server with less players, atleast 10, hopefully that will reduce the ammount of problems, and yes I know that is stupid.

I agree but I can also see why they're mad with the issues they're having, I'm also mad about those issues happening and I did not expect such reactions.

That's normal, every first release has issues, especially if it was barely tested in public.
Some people here shouldn't act like that, at all. They have no reason to.

heres my honest opinion:
the hover karts are terrible to drive and the big loopy map sends you flying on occasion, also whenever you bump into someone in the hover kart you launch into orbit (thanks bass pot)
the normal karts have very nice handling and are pleasant to drive.
the kart engine sounds are quite annoying. you should change their pitch or disable them entirely. this combined with the music makes for a generally bad acustic experience
overall, i think the gamemode is nice

I feel bad for Filipe/anyone who helped on this. 1.5 years of work on this and all they get is crap. I know some of you are trying to help/improve the gamemode (and that's fine) but holy stuff some of you need to tone it down, this is no GOTY contender.

I doubt ANY of the people in this topic who said that it was rushed bugged Filipe to release it faster. If anyone bugged him to release it faster, it was most likely you.
