This is a dumb brown townogy. The best treatment for depression has found to be medication/therapy/exercise, not death.
Obviously if we considered death a treatment option then we would treat every fatal disease by killing the person.

You have to account for the abusability of giving the general public the right to identify as another gender and run into any bathroom they wish.
It WILL be abused, and it WILL open up bad situations.
These are quotes from experts from states with laws allowing trans people to use their preferred bathroom.
For example, Rhode Island has offered this right since 2001, and they've seen no increase in love crime due to it.
Before states were legislating on this, trans people were doing this anyway and
there was no crCIA of abuse of this policy like the one you are proposing.

If somebody has, let's say Schizophrenia, it would be really loving bad for them to be told that their delusions are correct and accurate. That's why we don't loving do that. We give them treatment and medicine, not mass delusions
love reassignment surgery is part of the "best treatment" that has been developed over the last half century.
Your argument is predicated on the trans individual's perceived gender being a "delusion". Something that modern psychology wouldn't concur with you about.
