No game is worth $60. The entire industry is a rip-off.
From the way I see it, it really depends on how much you value your time and how much time you get out of your games. I spent $220 for Halo: Reach and got more than my money's worth, but I spent $10 on Terraria and thought it was a complete waste.
If you put it into perspective, a movie ticket is about $20 for a 2 hour (average film length) session. During that, you're locked in a dark room that you can't talk to anybody in, you can't pause to go take a piss and you can't interact in any meaningful or fun way. Now, if you like that, that's all fine, but I reckon that I'd be willing to pay $60+ for something which I'll play >30 hours in where I get complete control over my experience and it's not going to bother anybody else (except if I'm being a richardhead online).
I guess if you're used to just buying games on sale for low cost, only having a small number of games and not being acquainted with development costs, $60 can seem ridiculous. For me though, I think that's a perfect price-point. At least it wasn't the $120AUD that GTA V was when it first launched on X360/PS3.
If you were being sarcastic I apologise, but I hear a lot of people make exactly the same complaints and it annoys the forget outta me.
