Author Topic: how do you feel about transgender people?  (Read 40708 times)

Tbh, we really aren't as ridiculous as you think. Yes, there's otherkin, there's "zer", there's probably someone out there who actually does identify as an attack helicopter, but that's not nearly the majority of the trans community. Most trans people I know are going through hormone treatments and surgeries and actively trying to look like their actual gender (not to be confused with biological love). Most of them either look androgynous or very passable, to the point where you wouldn't know they were trans unless you were really trying to look.

Think of it this way, this is less of mutilation and more of correction. Think about if you were the exact same person you are now, but born in the body of the opposite love, even though you feel like whatever you are now, and you found out about hormone treatments and surgeries that would change your body to be as close as possible to being born in the right body. Often what causes mental issues associated with being trans is not being able to be yourself, and being forced to live as a boy or girl, whichever you're not.

Purposely referring to someone by the wrong name or referring to a guy or girl as vice versa is also just a richard move. If someone told you their name was Joe, would you call them Bob because you thought it fit them better?

honestly they come in all walks of life. when i went in to meet my psych for the first time, i expected the waiting room to be full of like people with dyed hair and what people call "tumblr users", i guess to say short, even tho i dont like that term. but to my surprise, there was no one like that there. it was just average people. different ages, different genders, different ethnicities. I think you really just can't blanket-statement the people. maybe the disease, but its not like we can really help it. if a transgender is being annoying or a richard, its not like what they are doing is condoned by a "community" of transgenders. its just a annoying person.

yucky yucky

Yeah, still thinking they are the majority after they won the election...

...hahaha...

i think we might have a different definition of majority - i'm saying majority as "the most people" - while Annoying Orange won the electoral college, clinton did get the popular vote.

this is not a commentary on how i believe the election should've resulted, Annoying Orange won the electoral college so he won the election, simple as that.

im pointing out how he is grouping Annoying Orange voters by his wording in the post      ?

saying this similarly as how several people still believe that Annoying Orange won by population and not by electoral college

Depends. The only transgender I know doesn't look like a dude at all, yet she wants to be labled as a dude and goes into the guy's bathroom. Its so unmistakible that the person IS A GIRL and when you say "she", she'll flip out and she has gotten in 2 fights because of it lol

question: how do people feel about masculine girls who are biologically female and feminine boys who are biologically male? i'm assuming people probably don't have a problem with it but maybe i'm wrong

I only had one friend at school which she considered herself trans I guess? Ok maybe not, but she used to strap her boobs to make her look flat chested, she was pretty nice to hang with, until at some point she created some sort of trauma against guys and stopped talking to me all together, it's sad.
