this is a more general comment regarding moderation:

i used to host a DarkRP (different flavor of it than you think) gmod server commonly patronized by internally prominent cheat devs from various games. this has less to do with the cheat devs (although i have stories for them as well) and instead the random people we had to ban for cheating/trolling.

so it wasn't an uncommon occurrence for someone to post long, well written, essays (pre-AI) that would make the person seem like they're an absolute saint, the pinnacle of humanity; someone who was unfairly banned and discriminated against or caught up in a horrible misunderstanding. then you go look up the logs and the person was spamming "SHOOT ALL N*****S!!!!!!!!!" and having a wall of kills logged in the span of 0.2 seconds implying an aimbot was used.

this stuff happened all. the. time. so, please consider these things when looking into accusations against brickadia and use critical thinking skills to see if reality lines up with the accusations or if they're just the "SHOOT ALL TROONS!!!!!!!!!!" (disclaimer: comedic effect; they didn't actually say this) person.

in any case, we entered the worst timeline when [GSF]Ghost died. i didn't care much for brickadia, i was always following his project instead :(

Badspot only revokes keys if you are truly problematic.

After 18 years I still have my original key, no matter how much I've trolled or said or did. It still works

brickadia should only revoked keys under EXTREME circumstances.

Roblox and Minecraft has MILLIONS of players, they can ban 20,000 people daily and it won't even put a dent in their playerbase.

Brickadia has less than 50 people playing, you ban 5 a day now they have 45 people playing. Ban another 5 now 40, and so on.

brcikadia cannot afford to hardcore police their playerbase like Minecraft and Roblox.

Brickadia should self police their own community rather than rely on developer moderation.


Twitch has a feature that you can share your banlist with other streamers. They could implement something like that for Brickadia, make it easier for friends to keep track of problematic people.


Instead of revoking keys for speech increase filter censorship (optionally ofc) it should be up to the person who enabled the filter if they want to see that type of content. Maybe even allow them to customize it and add specific words they don't want to see.


It's not the end of the world if someone makes a swastika. I drew one on a paper airplane at the age of 6 I didn't even know what it was back then someone told me it was cool. This is what kids do.  But if someone doesn't like it they can just go to a different server. Or if someone made it on your server, just ban him off your server.


All of these things can be up to the community for how they want to handle this stuff it doesn't need global moderators.
