Minecraft Megathread; yeah its update 1.12 big whoop what about it

The combat in minecraft is a joke.

But I don't even know where to begin when improving it.

It's a game where you build with square blocks that uses literally 5 controls on the keyboard compared to most that use 50. Super fancy combat with sword clashing and all that dumb stuff wouldn't fit.

Combat should be the main thing that kills you in a survival game, not accidentally walking off cliffs or into lava pits

What if they implemented a type of simplisting wii fighting style? To enter combat with a sword, hold the left mouse button, and to swing, move the mouse in a direction. Wait shoot you gotta move the mouse to look around in the first place never mind

The stupid little sprint knockback, blocking, and jump crit features are handicapped.

I kind of like sprint knockback.

I hate when you use the word literally when you are wrong.
Not saying I disagree with the general statement, but you use more than 5 keys, especially if you include the number keys for quick equipping.

Actually, each team uploaded their own video. I posted GameChap, mainly because they posted their video like 30 minutes before the rest of the Yogscast ones went up so I saw that before the others. He posted another.
