I think they do that sometimes if they're loading slow or if imgur is under a lot of stress.

Actually seems kind of stupid. Although I'd want to be able to play Minecraft, why bother taking down the websites if you'll leave the game up? Doesn't make sense to me, there isn't nearly as much impact when we almost never use the site.

all you do is upload your level.dat from your saves folder to change your world into creative or survival. i've did it a few times. but as some one else suggested NEI or TMI is way easier more convenient than doing this method.
