I put a triple advanced SAS ship up with around 80 mass of gas, and pushed it directly up at half throttle and I'm going to sleep now.

Good morning all! I am apparently around halfway out of the solar system.

O.o interesting that it's stable enough to fly on it's own like that.

Well the SAS were all turned on and it was pointed at the direct up, so for the six hours it was pretty much on an autopilot.

Was your inclination constant?

Well the SAS were all turned on and it was pointed at the direct up, so for the six hours it was pretty much on an autopilot.

I thought adv. SAS didn't apply any forces to a craft, only utilizing the RCSs and Control surfaces on board to keep it straight. Therefore meaning that 1 would do exactly the same job as 3? I was under the impression that only standard SAS modules would apply a force.
