you only do if you do it wrong, and then there are medics rocketmen are like the most OP and annoying class to begin with so I don't see it having too much of a positive impact, heck I want to go to people who play the class' house and murder them
There's hardly any people who even play healer though, you do have some dedicated healers occasionally though most of the time nobody bothers with him for some reason, maybe its the Weapons? I mean healer is pretty fast If I recall and any class that's fast is a favorite in my book.
Regardless, this is a variable since the skill of the player is what makes Rocketman a "annoying" class, do you want a class nerfed to death or removed because its annoying? Fear mongering is all over this, the fact that having a fall damage dependent boss is only stopping the game from being more enjoyable and less frustrating is absurd.
In all the years I played at Boss Battles the only gripe and the most annoying thing aside from the idiots who stall a game or exploit stuff has to be Fall Damage, it has cost me probably over a hundred something rounds, because either I : Jump down thinking its safe, successful blast jump only to take too much damage when coming back down, Jet too fast with firebug (rare now, might be impossible), dashed into the ground as Decker Specialist, jumped onto a ramp and for some odd reason I slide off it and hit the ground, get pushed into a wall while walking past a exploding tank turret (I was just trying to get away and apparently wasn't war enough), as medusa or william, do a max height jump with low hp > missing the landing point and falling to death...
The list goes on, and I'm sure others probably had had worse, ask random people at the server, most likely they will say they hate fall damage, some will like it, but majority will hate it.
I hate arguing over stuff like this, but really the only way to find out is to try it, unfortunately there is never a Boss Battles Beta server to test things before their added to the game.
Really though why do we not have a Beta Server? It would be safer than just thoroughly discussing the change then making it and hoping the gameplay improves instead of worsening, and you wouldn't need to rent a server since the Beta server would only be open a few hours a week. Then if all things go great their added to the primary server.
There's nothing really bad about having a beta testing server, we had the dev server back then and it was great, the beta server could have a more limited player limit, something like 18 or 16 players.
