Should I consider secondary developers?

No, retain the purity. One man, one mod, ein reich!
Yes.

Didn't consider that. As much as it'd be nice for building and such, I vote no.

CityRP's are fun if hosted correctly.

Which basically means if Wallet (RoB) or Iban arent hosting it its ass.

I welcome you're input. You should read OP and the last few pages and hit me with some ideas if you have any.

I'm really looking forward to this, I love games with player-based politics. Would there be some sort of parliament? Politicans would meet every (real) week or so and then they would debate about certain laws, have questions from the public, falsely accuse the opposition, etc.

Nah, I don't think it'd be fun to support that kind of rabble. Electing a mayor and letting him forget things up will be plenty for now. I still have to worry about making the economy fluid and entertaining as it is. Adding in dynamic elements will need a lot of play-testing as it already stands.

I have a lot of fun stuff planned for the mayor.

So, you must be a bureaucrat to be elected mayor? If so, there'll be a lot of people sitting around and coming on daily just to beg for votes.

Do bureaucrats have terms? So there isn't a stuff storm of them just attempting to he mayor?

Oh man i beg you please dont restrict third person.

Considering it's difficult to aim in 3rd person, I think it would be better to keep 3rd person available for building & social reasons. Restricting it for combat would only glorify weapons

I vote no, mainly because it's too restricting on the player's perspective to favor a small feature in the game. Most players can handle some complications, but a hardcore addition like this could hinder the process of building and enhance the amount of crime.

This creates an unproportional border between the amount of art the city produces between the amount of crime it produces.

If you do add this, find a way to favor artists, and proportion.

If you're worried about third-person "cheating", you could make a seperate playertype for building. Perhaps a "building mode" which would allow third-person? Though perhaps this would give an unfair advantage to criminals using third-person?

I'm not sure if I support my own idea there, but I figured I'd throw it out there.

What if when this is visible:

you can only be bound to first person.

but when your not you can swap to third and first.
since your not going to be fighting in un-crime mode, and probably building this would probably work.

That wouldn't apply to police officers. Still doesn't solve the issue with datablocks, either. I'll probably just keep 3rd person in.

i'm changed my mind.. I am going to be a secret mafia but ALSO a cop.. i tend to trade kittens (but with around 2 pounds of cocaine and heroin inside, hopefully cat wont eat.) and then trade it to some cool drug dealers at the "alley way" (known habitat for cool drug dealers to hang out at.)
