This delay gives people time to react to the requirements at least, Go buy some hard drives. Think it's about time I downloaded more ram too.

I think the question right now is, what does "recommended" specs refer to? Does it mean you can max out the game? Does it mean you can get a consistent framerate on medium settings?

I think devs in future need to be a bit more clear about what these specs actually entail. Having anything above Minimum should theoretically mean the game is playable, but until you have the game in hand, there's no real way of knowing exactly what Rockstar's definition of "playable" is.

what does this mean and how can a game be irrelevant/relevant?

What I mean is how often people will talk about the game.

Just because people aren't talking about a game, doesn't mean it's not being played by people.

Look at Steam sales. When games get super low discounts, you can see heaps of people zurg rushing to buy and play the games they never got the chance to before.

Hell, I still play Sam & Max Hit the Road and many older games.

I won't be playing multiplayer in GTA V. I have no interest in multiplayer games, except splitscreen with my real life friends/siblings. I'm entirely getting this game for Single Player alone. That's why I don't give a stuff about Heists. Somehow I've managed to skip past all the spoilers so far.

720p at great fps
1080p at less great but decent and playable fps
i plan on running it on my second monitor
what do you mean by 720p? i have 2 1080p monitors, i'll be fullscreen on one
resolution? texture size?

resolution?
Resolution. Even if you have a 1080p monitor and you run the game in fullscreen, the game (if run at anything under native resolution) won't stretch to match your monitor's native resolution; instead it'll add black around the empty space.

loving goddamnit. i knew it r*

Irrelevant? To what?
All multiplayer aspects of a game die in due time.

I'm not asking for a huge discount. I just don't want to pay $90 for the game
Old picture? GTA 5 for PC is listed for a standard $60 now.

Whoops forgot I just posted this thread a second ago.

I took that exact screenshot about a minute before I sent the message.

It's still $90 here.

Remember, I'm paying Australian prices. Our economy is sucking down hard now. If I want $50 steam wallet, I have to pay between $60 and $70.

He never said he was going to buy it immediately.

then dont buy it??
Can you please stop?

I'm telling him why I want to wait for a discount, since I doubt most people over in America are concerned with Australian game prices.

I would like to buy the game, when I feel I can purchase it at an appropriate price. I've made it quite clear I want to buy the game. You don't need to tell me how I should spend my money or not.

$1 USD =/= $1 AUD
$1 USD = $1.24 AUD
$60 USD ≈ $75 AUD
