it's almost like this is early access

oh wait

Keen added advanced rotors which are rotors that uses the conveyor system. Also added sound modding to game, which I'm guessing will let modders add custom sounds to their mods. pretty cool.

They also stated that there's going to be no more feature updates for a few weeks, and they're going to start focusing more on bug fixes and game optimization.

Summary
In this update, we added an advanced rotor block that is able to function as a conveyor system and also implemented the option to mod sounds.

The second important implementation is bug fixing. As Marek Rosa has already written in his latest blog-post, the game is entering into a stabilization period where the amount of new features will be reduced and the focus will be mainly on bug fixing and stabilization of the things that are already in the game. This doesn’t mean that weekly updates will stop coming or that we are not going to add new features any more. This is just a temporary transition period that will last for a few weeks. There are still many big and important features to be added, but first we want to make sure that the game is free of bugs and in a much more stable state before we start implementing them.

can the new rotor connect to 1x1x1 conveyor block?

How the hell does a large reactor on a small ship manage to explode when it was only powering five ejectors? I had a mining ship and I had it pumping out it's cargo and it just went kaboom and I almost didn't notice what happened because the armor was still intact. God dammit.

Was it connected to your base? I don't know if some other processes on your station could have overcharged it or not.

how!?
we don't know
all ships and me lost movement forever but jelly

we shouldn't have played forklift

No, I used ejectors for the sake of compactness. I don't know why it happened, I installed a new reactor in the empty space and it was just fine. Weird.

Here's the update: http://forums.keenswh.com/post?id=7152894

I decided to make a monster ship. Not finished yet!

Really nice, only thing Id suggest doing is if you have a second layer to separate the interior from exterior armour I'd grind down some stuff to get some different textures going.

two updates have been released since the last time updates were mentioned

Bugfixing #3

I wonder, why dont they add those featured small ship gatling guns?

I'm ok with it being grey and gritty anyway.

Also I crashed it so I'm bored now anyway.
