I'd also suggest moving your Blockland folder to "C:\" since Program Files does lots of weird stuff to "protect your computer" such as hiding all program-created files in some obscure folder in a hidden section of your user files.

You have to specifically run Blockland "as administrator" and click the Continue button to get it to run as non-read only in Program Files. Being logged on the administrator account won't do. It'll just erase all changes you make as soon as the game ends e.g. when RTB installs.

Move the folder to your user area or C:\ as Ephialtes said.

I plan to phase out usage of the IRC since its much harder to control who uses it and who can't. We will be switching over to Jabber which will have 1 account per BL ID so people are easier to manage. It also supports group chats so it'll be like IRC just easier to control the idiots in it.

Cool.  I assume that people will be able to access their RTB Jabber with an external client that works with Jabber?


Also, I've been wondering what possibilities there of people joining server's chats through an external client (or while they're on a different server.)  I would be useful if turned on a server would create a group chat that had everyone ingame talking, and you could  talk to them.

I think ^^ that should be added.

One of the only features I enjoyed in TBM 2.0 is the fact that all messages sent in the server are sent to an irc channel so you can chat directly to the server. Maybe something toggleable in server control?

There was something like that in some C&C Renegade mod.
Buildings/vehicles destroyed, chat messages, and kills were displayed in the IRC, and IRC chat messages were shown ingame.

I'm sure it would be easy to make. (Except cut out buildings and vehicles destroyed)

I noticed something else while on the wiki.  Under the link section on the left side there is a link to the old IRC page, that obviously doesn't work.

One of the tables in our database got corrupted earlier. The table locked itself but was unable to unlock afterwards or repair itself automatically. I managed to restore a backup of this a few moments ago. The table was just a search indexing table so you won't notice any differences.
