Basically what the title says, I have a rescue system that checks if there are any dead players in the team in order to trigger an event. But it needs this variable.

Just like how there's <var:mg:teamliving1-6>, I'd like for there to be a variable like <var:mg:teamdead1-6>

Bot - Left 4 Block Zombies [^]

In 2015, Megaguy2 released an audio pack containing the Gamemode_Zombie sounds and the tank zombie as a hole bot. I wanted more zombie types from Gamemode_zombie ported over and perhaps from ZAPT as well. I asked later that year if anyone wanted to make these zombie types as bots, but to no avail. Now 4 years later, I decided to make them myself after all the Torque knowledge I obtained.

These bots feature custom sounds, effects, their abilities from the base game, dynamically raising their arms and lowering them, being able to get distracted by a pipe bomb or bile bomb, custom CI's, and more! There's also support for Glass preferences to enable custom faces and decals, along with editing the damage amount some specials do.

5 attack damage
Bile explosion that is lethal to very close targets. If the boomer explosion gets to the player, they will be temporarily blinded and become a biled victim. Zombies nearby a small radius consider them a priority target.
Vomits on players and gives the same outcome with the explosion, but no blinding.

First warns the player before charging at the player. Once it has a target, it grabs them and starts smashing their victim to the ground.

Killing the spitter will spawn a bunch of acid around her.

I figured it out.

I want to make the default zombie bots distracted and only focus on the pipe bomb. In the video, you'll see that the bots run to it first, then they leave it alone and go ahead and attack the player instead, then repeat. I just want them to focus on the pipe bomb instead of doing that. Then they can return to their normal roots after the pipe bomb explodes, of course. I tried looking at Bot_Dogs but I had no luck looking for something to use in that code, and I'm not sure how to do it myself.

I also ripped the weapon out of Gamemode_Zombie, but still functions the same.

So, there's two add-ons I want to use together. But whenever I try to pickup the score items, they don't work with the playertype. I know the L4D Survivor playertype has customization to edit what items can be picked up for each category, but that still doesn't work neither? Here's the two add-ons, and I have a console log. These add-ons don't work correctly even with every other add-on besides those two enabled.

Modification Help / Melee knockback?

I'm editing a weapon and consider myself a novice coder. I've been looking at other tools or weapons such as the Push Broom to implement some sort of knockback for my weapon using:

impactImpulse
verticalImpulse


But after I implement the two lines starting at line 95, the vertical impulse works, but there's no horizontal impulse which is what I assumed the impactImpulse was? If you'd like to take a look at my weapon I edited, here's a download for the edited weapon. Or you can take a look at the .cs file instead.

I was looking for a mod that allows the OnRelay input events for everything else besides "Self" and "Named brick". Such as bots, players, clients, and minigames. I remember seeing this on BLF and I did have it before, but I cannot find it. But if anyone has something like this, please share the download. Thank you.

This is a project I've been working on for almost a year, I started this on May or June of 2016. And I'm pleased to share it with the rest of Blockland Forums. This was originally an open project for anyone to join, but I decided to keep it closed to Blocky Tree Development members only.

Information

Outbreak takes place in Sorctine, a fictional place containing 3 islands. It is currently a work in progress and will take some time for me to complete. The mainland is small, but improvements will be made to it, along with the other islands as I continue working on the map. Most buildings are open and can be scavenged, anyone could live in them. Places with more interaction are also planned.

There are some problems however, I'm trying to balance quality and detail to fit my goal of 3 islands. There's also problems with freekillers and bandits, but there's a fair amount of zombies that can distract them otherwise. The last issue is map size, I'm trying to get the areas to be as large as possible for 30 players, I might increase it  when the project is complete and when I have a computer to host servers with (I use my laptop to host the server).
