it did happen to some other GTR owner, not trinick/trinick's friend.

The guy was going over 200 mph and the tire blew.

I don't think the article said.

If a tire is starting to wear thin, then yah, it's going to blow at really high speeds. Think of race cars, they have to get their tires changed very frequently because such high speed (and the cornering) wear down the tires quickly.

He likely just didn't have enough tread left on them.

tomorrow the first modification will be made to my car.

changing the current pitted, flat rotors and replacing them with slotted & drilled rotors and putting new ceramic pads on.  I will be sandblasting and rebuilding the current calipers (sadly not the track edition brembo's), and repainting them.  Will post pictures after it's all said and done

Actually most of the new Rams are lovey. I love how Dodge is going LED crazy with their lighting now.
