The London underground system is, if I remember correctly, the biggest underground system in the world. As someone who regularly uses it, it's depth is what I imagine to be safe from a nuclear bomb. If the fallout version of London is anything like the real version, there would be tons of survivors. They were regularly used in WW2 to protect people from bombs.
The newest tunnels go even deeper than the original ones.

i would like to see this as a spinoff or something. but how would as many people survive without vaults?
Vaults were clearly not necessary for surviving, even as non-ghouls.
There are so many people in Fallout who obviously didn't come from Vaults, nor are they descended from vault-dwellers.

And there are plenty of reasons why there would be vaults in Britain, or anywhere else in Europe.
It would be perfectly logical that Vault-Tec had facilities abroad (I mean, they have a facility on Far Harbor, despite being a stuff location for one), or partnered with Vault companies in other countries.
There are also other governmental vaults and cave systems, or underground networks that could have been made as fallout shelters.

I don't see any reason why Fallout couldn't take place outside of America, besides the fact that the game pokes fun at American culture.
And all of that can easily be incorporated into a European based game. It's not like Europe today is completely uninfluenced by American culture. And in this fictional universe it could very well have been further influenced.

Plus, the Fallout series hardly survives on just American culture alone. I mean, the BoS are practically national socialists, and there was the Legion who are Romans, and the Khans who were Mongols.
If you set it in Europe for once it would maybe make more sense if a group of raiders took on the persona of an historical culture.

Didn't they start building vaults after Europe forgeted themselves?

it would be interesting to see a fallout world in a place like new york city, where the whole overworld is a ruined city, instead of some big empty desert

New York was nuked, iirc. There ain't no buildings left.

Contraptions is a little bit crappy.
Conveyors and Ball-tubes are probably quite interesting and can be used in a decent way, but I've not had a chance to play with them properly yet.

Elevators are absolutely stuffty however. They don't snap to floors (but floors snap to them???), and each 'floor' on the elevator is taller than a standard floor. Meaning if you already have a towering building, you can't attach an elevator to it and have the elevator come to all the floors, as each subsequent elevator floor will be higher than the buildings floors.
I have no loving idea how this oversight was made, because it makes elevators completely useless.
If there's any way to even get them to work with a building properly it will require you to build it around the elevator.

Conveyors can be quite interesting, especially with the full range of tracks and hoppers, and machines you can use to create ammo/weapons/armour.

The new warehouse building set is basically a reskin of Far Harbor's Barnyard set, with near identical pieces. However, it's generally more attractive than the Barnyard, and doesn't have the issue of one side always being red/white. Plus, there are a lot of new glass windows and skylights, which have complete glass panes!

Maybe some people will get a lot out of this DLC, but I think it's surprisingly limited, and has several terrible oversights in how some things are used.
In my opinion, it's probably the weakest DLC so far.

Yeah, New York and I think Philadelphia took direct hits. By rights they should mostly be in the condition that the Glowing Sea is in, as that also took a direct hit.

just got the season pass for $28 dollars, thanks G2A

G2A

I'm surprised you didn't get scammed outta' your money.

Elevators are meant to work with the warehouse buildings, and barn i believe

New York is huge, even with a direct hit I think there would still be a lot that isn't glowing sea level of radiation.

Jesus Christ you're quite becoming the illogical butt-nugget of the forum.

Elaborate on how it wouldn't be possible?
I feel like america works cause that's what fallout is about
this retro futuristic world that wouldnt work in other countries

somehow I'm not surprised that content for a bethesda game revolving around physics isn't very good
